Account Deletion & Data Policy

Draft status

This policy is a working draft requiring privacy, retention, finance, and legal approval.

Deletion request

Members may start deletion in Account Settings after confirming their password. A 14-day grace period permits cancellation before scheduled processing. Profile visibility is restricted when deletion is pending.

What is deleted or anonymized

Profile content and non-required account identifiers will be deleted or anonymized after the grace period. Existing messages may be retained in de-identified form for the recipients' conversation history and safety context.

Limited retention

Payment and tax records, fraud and safety evidence, security audit records, legal holds, and short-lived encrypted backups may be retained only as operationally or legally necessary. Backup copies expire through normal rotation and are not restored for ordinary product use.

Subscriptions and exports

Members must review active subscriptions before deletion. A data export should be requested before processing completes. Completion confirmation will be sent when the operational workflow finishes.
