Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
Draft status
This policy is a working draft and is not a substitute for a counsel-approved statutory notice process.
Respect for rights
Members may upload only content they own or are authorized to use. Infringing content is prohibited.
Reporting
A notice should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content and location, the reporting party's contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and a physical or electronic signature.
Review and counter-notice
We may remove or restrict content while reviewing a sufficiently detailed notice. Where applicable, the affected member may submit a counter-notice. We may act against repeat infringers.
Contact
Use Copyright Reporting in the Safety & Support area. Counsel must approve the designated-agent and country-specific procedure before launch.
