Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

This policy is a working draft and is not a substitute for a counsel-approved statutory notice process.

Respect for rights

Members may upload only content they own or are authorized to use. Infringing content is prohibited.

Reporting

A notice should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content and location, the reporting party's contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and a physical or electronic signature.

Review and counter-notice

We may remove or restrict content while reviewing a sufficiently detailed notice. Where applicable, the affected member may submit a counter-notice. We may act against repeat infringers.
